Four Stars For…

Girls’  Night Out!!

Everyone could use a night out every once in a while, away from work and the kids and stresses of life. We decided to make it THAT much easier for you and your girlfriends by scouting the best spots and best outfits (which can all be found here at Wish!!). Where do you go for Girls’ Night Out? Stop by Wish and pick up the perfect outfit for a night out on the town with your girlfriends!

DrinkDRINK

Drink is one of our favorite places to get a truly custom cocktail. Honestly, you just tell them what you like in a drink and let them do the work!! Located in the Seaport on Congress Street, it’s unique concept draws a lot of attention. With that being said, we highly recommend getting there early, as they don’t take reservations.

Before heading over to Drink, make your own custom cocktail!! We really loved putting our own spin on this Berry Fizz drink, with Prosecco, a splash of cranberry juice and a few blueberries. Garnish with a lime and ENJOY!!

Drink Attire? Classy while understated. When in doubt, we always turn to our Tibi Silk Tanks. We are obsessed with how chic these tops look in ANY color. Pair the tank with a pair of AG Black Stilt Crops and your favorite black pumps (we NEEEEED these) and you are set!

lolitaLOLITA

It’s almost like Lolita was made for a GNO. Its dark and sexy with a playful vibe. The couches in the corner are perfect for gossiping. Add in a few pitchers of margaritas and a little cotton candy at the end… HEAVEN. We recommend anything with tequila and the lobster guacamole!

To get into the Lolita spirit, we decided to make Cherry Caipirinhas (full recipe here), which are insanely easy but make you look like a seasoned bartender!

We are right at the cusp of maxi season and are loving the great styles Ella Moss has come up with. We paired this maxi with great gladiator sandals or wedges and a great pair of earrings (like these gorg Margaret Elizabeth Labradorite studs).

westbridgeWEST BRIDGE

Not all girls’ nights need cocktails or dresses. Some nights, you just want a really great beer with even better girlfriends. Cross over the bridge to Cambridge and make your way to West Bridge in Kendall Square. This french-contemporary bar is super modern and chic with the most eclectic menu you’ve ever seen, with items like Egg in a Jar (trust us, YUM).

Before heading over to Cambridge, grab a 6 pack of your favorite craft beers. Right now, we are loving Sam Adams new Porch Rocker. It’s got a citrus taste while still very much a beer!!

West Bridge is chic but you will be out of place in Cambridge in a cocktail dress. We love seeing all of the lightweight linen blend sweaters and are very partial to this Rebecca Taylor leopard sweater. Pair it with distressed AG Leggings, your favorite booties or pumps and a great clutch like this sleek DVF Envelope Clutch.

ALIBI

The Liberty never fails us for a fun place to people watch, but the bar/lounge scene of the downstairs Alibi guarantees a great time. Continuing with the Liberty Hotel’s prison theme, the Alibi is decked out with cell bar doors and hilarious celebrity mugshots. Call ahead early and get a table reserved for your girls, complete with bottle service!!

A night at Alibi calls for a round of house-made Lemon Drop Martinis beforehand, which is apparently among Oprah’s favorite cocktails (recipe found here)! Make them a little more on the strong side and a little less on the sweet side… you’ll thank us later!!

LBD’s are a MUST for Alibi, where MGH doctors and celebrities like Maria Menounos have been spotted. We love how flirty our new Milly flared dress is, especially when paired with a funky statement necklace like this NylaStar piece.
